Primarily based in Surrey, we welcome members not just from Surrey but surrounding counties and further afield.

Our main aims are:

To maintain and grow a community of people with an interest in all fields of herpetology, both online and by hosting events and meeting for our members.
To provide a forum for all reptile keepers, from the novice to the advanced experienced keeper, where information and knowledge can be shared regarding all aspects of reptile and amphibian husbandry.
To improve and uphold the standards of welfare within the herpetological community, through stringent practice of good husbandry, breeding and trading. Whilst supporting both ethical private breeders and reputable retailers. The welfare of reptiles and amphibians has largely become a matter of self-regulation within the community, which SRAS intends to uphold.
